What was also unforgettable was how hard it was to get eclipse glasses at any price. For our whole family to see the eclipse safely, we had to buy a pair of welding goggles! We are committed to avoiding another shortage like this so every family has the opportunity to see a once-in-a-lifetime eclipse too.

At See Solar Eclipse, we are dedicated to providing eclipse observers with the proper safety equipment in a timely manner. Given our own experience with a shortage of eclipse glasses, we have made our process such that our supply can be distributed as quickly and efficiently. Aside from our commitment to sales, we are also committed to providing youth access to eyewear as well. We are pledging a pair of glasses to every student at several elementary schools in the path of the eclipse to give schoolchildren an opportunity to see the eclipse and promote their interest in astronomy.
We are headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey where we were able to see the "Great American Eclipse" in 2017. Inspired by the shortage of eclipse glasses, our founder Sawyer Quallen, who is a student at Princeton High School, created this company in order to ensure a supply of protective eyewear to those in need of them. In his spare time
